Naija Boy Tacos: Nigerian Neighborhood Taco Spot!
Your friendly neighborhood taco spot! After a few months of being invited, schedules not aligning, and my memory slipping me, I finally got to check out Naija Boy Tacos.
This isn’t your typical taco joint. Located at 15th and G, Naija Boy offers Mexican style food with a West African flare. I tried their take on a Cali Burrito which included lamb chorizo, fries, cheese, pico de gallo, crema, and just the right amount of kick to it. My buddy had a trio of tacos that looked quite tasty as well!
This corner spot is sure to be hot once Spring rolls around and the weather quits being less…..wet. The man behind the menu is a first-generation Nigerian chef that fuses the African and Mexican flavors together for a taste that I can’t describe, but do crave. Keep an eye out for brunch and in the meantime, grab it to go!
